Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) usually occurs when sexually transmitted bacteria spread from woman vagina to your uterus and upper genital tract.
Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of the female reproductive organs
Nursing Intervention
  • Monitor vital signs
  • To promote vaginal drainage Take client semi-Fowler position
  • Administration antibiotics as per doctor order
  • Maintain Iv fluids level to prevent or correct Dehydration and acidosis.
  • If an ileus or abdominal distension is present, a nasogastric tube is usually inserted to decompress the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Provide perineal care every 2 to 4 hours with warm, soapy water to keep the area clean. 
  • Provide high calorie diet, tube feedings or  parenteral nutrition
  • Urinary catheterization is contraindicated to avoid the spread of the disease process
  • Give Analgesics Medication as per pain level and doctor advise.

MORPHINE medication is used to help relieve moderate to severe pain. Morphine belongs to a class of drugs known as narcotic (opiate) analgesics. It works in the brain to change how your body feels and responds to pain.
Side effect
Nausea, vomiting, constipation, lightheadedness, dizziness, drowsiness, or sweating may occur
Nursing Intervention
  • Monitor respirations especially depth and rate.
  • Monitor vital signs,Cardiac output and central venous pressure may be needed.
  • Monitor neurological status.Observe for seizures.
  • Monitor renal status and urinary output.
  • Notify the health care provider regarding the drug's effectiveness
  • Monitor liver enzymes and observe the patient for abdominal distention, 
  • tenderness and rigidity.
  • Monitor for hives or itching
  • Monitor for constipation
  • Report any side effects and symptoms of an allergic or anaphylactic reaction.
  • Immediately report any shortness of breath, tight feeling in the throat, itching, hives or other rash, feelings of dysphoria,nausea or vomiting.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is the most common type of heart disease.is a disease in which a waxy substance called plaque (plak) builds up inside the coronary arteries. These arteries supply oxygen-rich blood to your heart muscle.
Nursing Intervention 
  • Place patient in comfortable position and administer oxygen, if prescribed
  • Monitor and record vital signs.blood pressure, apical heart rate, and respirations every 5 minutes during an anginal attack
  • Maintain continuous ECG monitoring 
  • Encourage supine position for dizziness caused by antianginals.
  • Teach the patient relaxation techniques
  • Ask the patient to grade the sverity of his pain on a scale 1 to 10.
  • Encourage patient to do relaxation techniques.
  • Reinforced low salt and low fat diet
